Most great adventure games get away with shallow gameplay because of how satisfying their stories are. Cloudpunk gets closer to that than I thought it would, but still stops short of it. This particular adventure game does deliver the goods, just not quite enough of them, or in a consistent enough manner, for me to overlook its issues. In Cloudpunk, the good and the bad are simply a package deal.

In this review of Cloudpunk, I talk about how the delay of Cyberpunk 2077 may have left a hole that needs filling. Cloudpunk may fill that hole. Cloudpunk is a narrative driven adventure game, with an aesthetic similar to blade runner or cyberpunk or neon Tokyo. It has driving mechanics, a gorgeous world and an intriguing series of stories delivered through a cast of great characters. While there are some draw backs, through this review I will give you the details you need to maybe have Cloudpunk scratch that Cyberpunk itch while we wait for September to roll around. FINALLY, the Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod has reached it's full potential when paired with an RTX 4090, my mind has officially been blown by this RTX 4090 Cyberpunk 2077 VR gameplay and I cannot wait to spend hundreds of hours in Nightcity! The Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod has been available for quite a while but it's been one of the most difficult VR mods to run due to Cyberpunk 2077s high demand on PC specs when it comes to achieving solid performance. I previously settled for medium to low graphics presets and a resolution of around 1640x1640 and STILL only got around 30-40fps in VR... but now thanks to the 4090 VR gameplay performance I can max everything out on 2432x2432 resolution and can achieve a far more stable and consistent framerate which could be improved even further with a little more tinkering! Cyberpunk 2077 is an INSANE VR experience on this new PC... I'll be running more RTX 4090 VR gaming tests over the next few weeks, please leave a comment down below if you'd like to see me test certain games or VR mods, I'm already keen to revisit the Resident Evil VR mods and performance hogs like Green Hell VR but feel free to recommend some more to me and I'll start working my way through them all.
